Content Optimization for Public Relations Writing (PRL 376) emphasizes strategic public relations and social media writing through research, composing and developing multimedia content for social sharing, websites and other media for various purposes and responding to crisis situations within the social sphere.
In this assignment, we selected a topic relevant to the PR industry - I chose crisis communication - and created a series of five blog posts to demonstrate our growing understanding and unique perspective. The series includes an introduction to the topic, key challenges and opportunities in chosen topic, a case study, future trends and predictions and finally, a reflection and call-to-action. All blog posts are combined into one document above for ease.
This assignment is an in-depth exploration of how F1 uses content optimization to achieve its overall PR goals. This assignment is divided into organization selection and background, publics and stakeholders, content types and channels, content optimization strategies, crisis communication and ethical considerations and lastly, measuring impact and success to culminate a comprehensive analysis.
